Pat Mitchell Priest passed away on March 31, 2025 in Abilene, Texas. A private service will be conducted by Fry-Smith Funeral Home in Tuscola, Texas on April 16, 2025.
Pat chose to be cremated and for her remains to be placed by her parents, Marvin and Eva Mitchell in the Tuscola Cemetery.
Pat is survived by her beloved daughter Terri Whipple and husband Richard of Abilene, Texas. Terri was the bright spot in Pat's life; a brother Gus Mitchell (George) of Keller, Texas, and a sister, Jo Ann Grant of Athens, Alabama. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Eva Mitchell and a brother, Bill Mitchell of Llano, Texas.
Pat was born January 24, 1937 in Sweetwater, Texas and graduated from Abilene High School. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Pat resided in Abilene, Texas for many years and then moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1980 where she eventually retired from Medtronic in Fort Worth as an Administrative Assistant in the year 2000 and then returned to Abilene to enjoy her retirement.
