Patsy Lee Simpson, 99, passed away at her home on January 27, 2026.
Patsy was born on June 13, 1926, to the late Elbert and May Compton Sellers in St. Louis, Missouri.
Patsy was a member of Westridge Church of Christ. She also enjoyed cooking, making quilts and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Simpson; parents, Elbert Sellers and May Compton Sellers; twin sister, Peggy Lou Sellers; sister, Montana Coker; and brother, Elbert “Bo” Sellers.
She is survived by her son, Roger D. (Jerri) Simpson of Guys, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Brandon and Melanie Simpson of Reeds Spring, MO, and John R. and Jessica Rogers of Michie, TN; great-grandchildren, Addison and Jordan Murrell, Mary Simpson, Emily Boling, Garrett Webb, Olivia Simpson, Sailor Rogers, Harbor Rogers, and Dreyton Barnes; great-great grandchild, Nora Simpson.
She is also survived by her son, Ronald D. and Karen Simpson of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Cody and Rebecca Simpson of Maynard, Colten and Merissa Simpson of Pocahontas, Gennifer Simpson Newell of Pocahontas, Gage and Katie Glisson of Pocahontas, Maggie and Alex Lewis of Montgomery, TX, and Hope Barnes of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Maddox Simpson, Alivia Simpson, Aniyah Simpson, Kai Newell, Abram Newell, Beau Glisson, Porter Lewis and Lee Lewis along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Masonic Cemetery with Gerald Fears officiating.
