Patsy Arledge Watson, age 76 went to her Heavenly Home on December 16 while at MUSC Health in Camden with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Randy Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be following the service in the Fellowship Building.
Patsy was born in Camden, a daughter of the late John Sidney Arledge and Minnie Wilson Arledge. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Watson was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed serving others. She spent many hours during her life caring for and ministering to her family, church, and community. She was always the first to show up when others were in need. Helping others gave her great joy!
Surviving is her husband of 581/2 years, Phil (Buck) Watson, Bishopville; three children, Maria (Ritchie) Watson, Bishopville, Crystal (Tommy) Page, Bishopville and Vincent (Sandra) Watson, Camden; ten grandchildren, Will (Madyson) Watson, Cody Watson, Drew Watson, West Watson, Wyatt Welch, Aaron Watson, James Watson, Austin (Heather) Watson, Christian Welch and Emily (Evan) Atkinson; three great grandchildren, Eli Watson, Bentley Watson and Ruthie Watson; one sister, Sybol (Ronnie Talbert) Brown, Bishopville; one brother, John (Janice) Arledge, Camden.
Memorials may be made to MUSC Kershaw Health Hospice.
