Patsy Jeanene Watts Hughes, 65, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley-Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ella Mae Watts; sister, Joanne Polston and son, Cameron Hughes.
Patsy leaves behind her beloved husband of 49 years, Mitchell Hughes; daughter, Christy Holland; sister, Vicky Tyler; son-in-law, Chris Holland; grandchildren: Devin Dove, Brandon Dove (Crystal), Collin and Meredith Hughes; great-granddaughter, Alora Gause and niece, Nikki Pait.
Patsy cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed cooking, driving fast, Christmas shopping and going out to eat with Mitchell. The legacy of love and laughter will forever live on in those that knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:45am on Monday, December 30th at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12pm with the Reverend Bobby Smith officiating service. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro.
