Patsy Dees (Patty) Willis, 69, of Raeford passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Cape Fear Valley Hoke Hospital.
Patsy was born in Laramie County, Wyoming on June 28, 1956, daughter to the late James Elbert Dees Sr. and Martha Eugenis Lambert Dees. Patsy worked in the banking industry and Cape Fear Valley Hospital before retirement. She loved Quilting, Needle Point, Arts and Crafts and was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Patsy was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Curtis Willis Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Curtis Willis Sr. of Raeford; sons, Michael Chad Willis (Shalena) and Jeremy Lee Willis (Adriana), all of Raeford; siblings, Kim Dees Schmidt (Gary), Lisa Dees Brown (Tim), Betty Dees Roberts (David), Karen Dees Utsman, Kelly Dees (Sandy) and James E. Dees Jr. (Luanne); 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, 3219 Lindsay Road, Raeford, NC 28376 with Pastor Tommy Underwood officiating.
