Patti Daphene Bridgforth

Funeral services for Patti Daphene Taylor Bridgforth, 86, of Lovington will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Patti was born on August 19, 1936 in Harmon County, Oklahoma to Clifford and Lurline (McClendon) Taylor and passed away on May 3, 2023 in Lubbock. Patti moved to Lovington, NM in the 8th grade and met her future husband, Jim. She was a cheerleader during her high school years and helped organize her class reunions. Patti was a dedicated Lovington Wildcat fan of all sports, especially if her kids were playing. She enjoyed word and scrabble games and made sure to keep score. Patti liked gardening and really enjoyed having her hands in the dirt. Her grandkids new her as Noni.
She was preceded in death: her husband Jim and her parents: Clifford and Lurline Taylor.
She is survived by sons: Chief Bridgforth and wife Teresa and Stephen Bridgforth and wife Jenny; one daughter: Melanie and husband Larry Ridenour; one sister: Karen Gibbs; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday May 7, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel.
