Edward Bridgforth Obituary
Mac was born in Henderson, NC, and raised in Kenbridge, VA. He attended Hampden-Sydney College, Sewanee University, and was a graduate of RPI, now VCU. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mac's career expanded over 60 years, including serving as a lobbyist for the VADA, working as a stockbroker, and finally as owner of Commonwealth Distributing Company for 25 years.
In his spare time he enjoyed quail hunting, fishing, college football and playing golf with his buddies on Stingray Point.
At Mac's request, there will be no public service. Donations in Mac's memory may be made to the American Leukemia Society or the charity of your choice.
