Pattie Lavender McCullars, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on the morning of Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The Canopy in Warner Robins, Georgia. She was 80 years old.

The daughter of the late Donald Lewis and Mable Hawthorne Lavender, Pattie was born on June 11, 1944, in Gordon, Georgia. Pattie spent most of her life in Gordon before moving to Milledgeville, and later to Houston County to be closer to her family.

Pattie married her sweetheart, Bobby McCullars, at the age of 18 with love and companionship that spanned 62 years. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to her family, raising their children with care. Pattie was an avid reader and could often be found working through crossword puzzles.

Pattie will be remembered for her quiet strength, enduring dignity, and the charismatic spirit she shared with everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Pattie was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Lavender, Ernest Lavender, and Doris Lavender Snow.

In addition to her husband, Pattie's memory will forever be treasured by her children, Brad McCullars (Debra) and Tina McCullars Scott (Mark); grandchildren, Mandi, Brittney, Langdon, Bradley, and Chance; great-grandson, Brayden; and siblings-in-law, Anne Lavender, Margie Gutierrez (Matt), Jackie Colegrove, Joan Dixon (Sonny), Pat Lay, and Barrie Kopel (Craig); as well as several other beloved extended family members and friends.

Visitation with Pattie’s family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Following the visitation, there will be a private family graveside service where Pattie will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Pattie Lavender McCullars to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011; or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.
