The Visitation for Mrs. Burrows will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sammy Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Elmer.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Roy Oldham, Mike Cummings, Billy Townley, Little Billy T., Cory Edwards, Donald Barton, Jacob Walker and Alan Bond. Honorary Pallbearers are Nathan Robinson, Bryan Edwards, Austin Edwards and Freddy Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, JB Burrows; parents, George G. Carter and Corrine Townley Carter; in-laws, John A. and Ruby Burrows; George C. Carter and siblings; and son-in-law, Kenneth Turnage, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kandy Burrows, Beth Barton (Donald), John A. Burrows, III; Missie Walker (Freddy), and Alan Bond (Nancy); two daughters in heart, Mary Carter and Ebony Flournoy; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; special babies, Jake and Sassy; and a host of other family and friends.
