Patricia Kay Guckian, 69 of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Patty as she was known by family and friends was born on January 30, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Charles Colwell and Mary Mason. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and attended and graduated from Wyandotte High School. She was united in marriage to John E. Guckian on June 28, 1986 and they were blessed with two sons, John Wesley and James William.
Patty was employed in a variety of fields, most recently as a valet at KU Cancer Center. She loved the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, spoiling her beloved grandchildren and hanging out with friends. Patty accepted Christ at an early age and for several decades attended London Heights Baptist Church. Patty most recently attended Masters Community Church both located in Kansas City.
Patty was a gentle person, loving and kind, full of fun and conversation. She will be missed by her family, church family and many friends.
She is survived by her children, John Guckian of Kansas City, Mo, Pastor James Guckian and wife Kaeli of Sullivan, MO; grandchildren, Teia and Micah; one brother, James Colwell of Kansas City, MO; other relatives and many friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Guckian in April 2021; and her parents, Charles Colwell and Mary Mason.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 30th, at 2pm at London Heights Baptist Church.

Patty was our favorite valet at KU Cancer Center. She was always very polite and kind. She will be missed by many patients and caregivers.
