Patty Lou Jacobs, age 94, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, surrounded by family and love.
Born in Clio, Michigan, on November 7, 1931, Patty was the beloved daughter of J.D. and Ethel Wilson, and Patty was one of seven children. She graduated from Clio High School and began her working years at AC Spark Plugs before embarking on the journey that would define her life and family.
On June 28, 1952, she married the love of her life, John F. Jacobs. Shortly thereafter, John joined the United States Air Force, and together they made their home in Biloxi, Mississippi. Patty devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family as a loving stay-at-home mother, raising four children with grace, strength, and unwavering love.
Patty was deeply involved in her community and faith. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an active member of Beauvoir United Methodist Church, where she volunteered in the church office and participated in several church groups. She also enjoyed fellowship through the Sunkist Garden Club.
Nothing brought Patty more joy than time spent with her family. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was an avid New Orleans Saints fan, and loved to travel and cruise, always embracing life with enthusiasm and curiosity.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “Jake” Jacobs; her son Steve Jacobs; her siblings, Betty Latimer, Onalee Dailey, Marleen Rupple, Jim Wilson, and Louis Wilson; her great-grandchild, Kailey Jacobs; her brother-in-law, John Gunnels; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Jacobs.
