Patty Murphy Obituary

Patty enjoyed gardening and cross-stitch and took pride in her beautiful crafts. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren with all her heart. Visits to her home were never complete without her signature farewell: "Let me get my hugs."
She is survived by her sister, Nola Faye Riley of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Sheila Hoefling of Suffolk, VA; son, Charles Lawson of Suffolk, VA; granddaughters, Stephanie Hawkins of Gates, NC, Carley Lawson of Conway, NC, Julie Hoefling of Portsmouth, VA, and Courtney Belch of Conway, NC; and grandson, Joey Hoefling of Portsmouth, VA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
