PIERCE, Patty Ann, age 73, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at Kettering Medical Center.
Patty graduated from Carlisle High School, class of '69. She worked at the Elder-Beerman Warehouse for approximately seven years, where she sorted and marked merchandise for shipment to their stores.
She was an animal lover; she especially loved her cat, JR. When outside, she delighted in watching cloud formations and spotting different shapes and objects--generally animals. She had an artistic mind and enjoyed drawing, painting, and particularly working on jigsaw puzzles. Her favorite snack was having some peanut butter. Among many things, she will be remembered for how much she loved to laugh and giggle and believed that it helps everyone to laugh and smile each day. She had a generous and kind heart and loved giving to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Edgar Weaver and Iona Hazel Weaver; one brother, Robert Richardson; and two sisters, Lois Harvey and Roberta Willis. She is survived by her brother, Ed (Roxie) Weaver; 15 nieces and nephews, Edward "Chuck" Weaver, Rebecca "Raven" Sutherland, Heather Tobe, Jenny Brewer, Lora Willis, Roy Willis Jr., Ginger Willis, Dennis Willis, Lynn Phillabaum, Robyn Davis, Jodi Gillman, Pam Steward, Tambra Hale, Annette Comley, and Jeff Harvey.

I knew Patty for many years as she was a patron at the Franklin Library and we delivered books to her. She was one of the sweetest, kindest and happiest people that I've known- always had a smile and kind word to share. If she ever had a bad day, a person would never know! I will miss her occasional phone calls and her loving personality. The world is a little darker without her in it.
