Paul E. Anderko

Paul E. Anderko, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was born on June 22, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois to Edward L. Anderko and Anna M. (Collins) Anderko. Paul grew up with three brothers, Bob, John, and Michael. His times and memories with them truly meant a lot to him.
Paul was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, as a Phi Sigma Epsilon, majoring in history. He worked a full career at Simpson Door Company. He was a people person, and his job fit him perfectly as it involved making connections.
He married the love of his life, Maureen Pritchett on October 7th, 1973. They had three children, Paul (Jen), (Melissa), Keith (Melanie), and Mark (Lana). Paul also had many grandchildren that he loved being a part of their lives: Joseph (24), Aiden (16, preceded in heaven), Chloe (16), Elijah (16), Tristan (14), Lukas (11), and Alexander (8). He had numerous nephews and nieces that were special to him. He taught his children that his family didn't end with just the immediate family but extended out.
Paul really loved people and got involved with sports and politics. His favorite past times were playing pickleball and spending time with friends and family. Every time Paul saw someone he would smile and get excited about talking with them. He had a way to make you feel special.
There are many other family members and friends that were special to him, just know he loved you. Paul will be missed.
Family, friends, and others whose lives he touched are invited to Paul's memorial service on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2;00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
