Paul Baker Obituary

Paul graduated from Jackson High School class of 1984. He attended DuPage College in Chicago and Akron University and was also attending 11th St. Church of God. Paul was a sports enthusiast, he was very caring, kind, humble and had a great sense of humor and had a soft spot for animals. Paul was a custodian with Jackson Schools for eight years. He enjoyed going to Mountaineer race track and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ronna Royer.
Paul is survived by his brother, David (Linda) Baker; sister Beth (Rev. Raymond) Russ and eight nieces and nephews and longtime companion Diane Graham.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720 from 10am to 11am with services to follow at 11am. Burial will follow in Greentown Cemetery. Please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to sign the online guestbook.

I was just reading on the internet that Paul had been called home with the Lord. I went to school with Paul who was a grade behind me. Paul & I played football for Jackson and Paul would catch me after a game and ask for advice & we would talk about the game. Paul always had a smile on his face and could make you laugh telling the occasional joke. I am glad to see Paul attended church at 11 Street church of God.. until we meet again Paul God Bless You. Jim

I was sad to read the news of Paul´s passing. Paul was very kind and very friendly. I enjoyed talking Cleveland baseball and other sports with him. Always a funny memory and I think he would laugh at this to know I shared it: whether it was 100 degrees outside or zero with snow drifts, he would be wearing athletic shorts. I´d give him a little, well intentioned razzing. Prayers for family and friends who are grieving at this time. Peaceful rest Paul
