Publish in a newspaper

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the death of Paul J. Benyeda on July 25th. He was born in Trenton, NJ. He was the son of Maria Camella Salerno and Paul Benyeda. He is survived by his wife Madeline (Lynne) Benyeda and children, aunts and cousins.

Paul contributed to the Emergency Management community across the country by facilitating training and participating in community preparedness programs such as the CERT program which teaches people to help themselves and their neighbors in need of assistance in the aftermath of an incident that impacts their community.

He was an adjunct professor teaching Master's and Undergraduate classes at Millersville University.

Paul saw the potential in people before they could see it in themselves. He encouraged and supported people in reaching their fullest potential. Paul was always there to help the community if the need arises. Paul was a kind and generous person.

Paul will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966
