Paul A Bienvenue

Paul A. Bienvenue, 64 years of age, died on Mon. Dec 4, 2023. He was a native of New Orleans, La and resided for the past 25 plus years in Kenner, La. He was a Petro physicist. He worked in the petroleum industry since his graduation from University of New Orleans in 1981 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He worked previously for Amoco, BP, Dominion, ENI, Tellus Operating Group, LLC and others. He belonged to the Petro physicists and Well Log Professionals group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Roy Bienvenue, Jr and Edna Bruce Bienvenue.
He is survived by his children: Matthew Paul, Daniel Joseph (Myisha), David Andrew, Benjamin Thomas (Mary), and Amanda Rose Bienvenue.
He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Bienvenue Bivona, his nephew/godson Scott Christopher Bivona, niece, Jennifer Christen Bivona and other nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his pet Gizmo.
The family will receive friends on Wed. Dec 20th from 10am-12pm at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12pm in the Schoen Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Lakelawn Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, the American Heart Assn, or Second Harvest of Southeast La.
