Paul Andrew Bonifield, 65, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Paul was born on December 13, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clifford and Barbara (Bulot) Bonifield. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a retired aircraft mechanic for United Airlines and a devoted member of Charlestown Independent Church. Prior to joining Charlestown Independent Church, Paul was a member of Mt. Hebron Community Church in Cloverdale, IN. Paul had a passion for motorcycles, a love for animals, and a deep enthusiasm for traveling. He was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed serving his church and community. In keeping with his generous spirit, Paul gave the gift of life through tissue donation.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Paul “Andy” Bonifield, Jr.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Bonifield; daughters, Ashley Bonifield of New Albany, IN, and Jammie Allsup of Malvern, AR; his sister, Linda Stauffer of Little Rock, AR; brother, Charles Bonifield of Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Trey Allsup and Zennlei Allsup; and several great-grandchildren.
A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Charlestown Independent Church, 9575 Highway 62, Charlestown, IN 47111. Visitation will take place at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
