His Legacy Raymond Smith Bonifield, 91, passed away December 4, 2023. He was born on October 26, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan to Ernest and Eva Bonifield. Ray built his home in Milford where he raised his children. He was very active and enjoyed maintaining his property. Ray was a hunter, fisher and gardener; he grew beautiful orchids. Ray loved animals, was a good neighbor and was always willing to help someone. It could take him awhile to warm up to you, but once he did he was very quick witted and a joy to be around. Ray was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family Ray will be missed by his children, Denise Robertson, Christine Baena, Sandy Woodward, Cherie (Jeff) Johnston; grandchildren, Shaun Shecora, Tyler Smith, Valerie Woodward, Ryan (Jessie) Johnston, Austin Johnston, Hannah Johnston, Abbie Johnston; great grandchildren, Conner Shecora, Owen Johnston, Hayes Johnston. He is preceded in death by his loving partner for life, Judy Bonifield; parents, Ernest and Eva Bonifield; siblings, Thelma Raymond, Mike Bonifield, Darlene Fulkerson, Polly Bonifield; and son-in-law, Bruce Robertson.
