Paul Andre Busque

BUSQUE, Paul – of Flint, Michigan, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Serenity Assisted Living. Per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. A Private Inurnment will take place on a later date in the family plot located in Quebec, Canada. Please take time to be with your loved ones – as he would want you to celebrate the living. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Paul's memory.
Paul was born in Saint-Simon-Les-Mines, Quebec, Canada on December 9, 1943, son of the late Fernand and Gilberte (Quirion) Busque. He was proud of his French-Canadian roots and carried his heritage with warmth, humor, and an enduring love of life's simple pleasure.
A master carpenter by trade, Paul had a rare gift for working with his hands. He could look at a piece of wood and see the beauty waiting within, transforming it into elegant cabinets.
Paul was the happiest in the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting at dawn, out on the golf course, or lacing up his skates for a game of hockey, he lived for the thrill of the moment and the camaraderie of good friends. He loved country music, the quiet peace of nature, and nothing beat an ice-cold brown pop on a hot summer day.
Paul will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 58 years; Theresa; daughters, Laura (Marty) Auxter and Ginette (Reagan) Busque; grandson, Gage Auxter; siblings, Martin, Denis, Solange, Odile, Patrice, Renald, and Jean-Yves; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis, Germain, and Joseph.
Paul's laughter, craftmanship and love of life will remain with all who knew him.
