Paul C. Casadei ObituaryLitchfield – Paul C. Casadei, 52, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2025.
Born on January 27, 1973, in Torrington, Conn., he was the son of Susanne (Koser) Casadei and the late Mark Anthony Casadei. He was raised in Litchfield where he attended local schools.
When Paul was a young man he visited Florida and learned the skilled trade of tree service from his brother, Geno, who was working for a tree service there. It was only fitting that Geno would be the one to also teach Paul how to climb trees. Upon returning to Connecticut, Paul began his own tree business, Casadei Tree Service, which he ran for the last 20 years.
In addition to his father, Mark Anthony Casadei, he was predeceased by his brothers, Geno Casadei and Mark Anthony "Tony" Casadei, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, October 11, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A brief service will be held at 1 pm at the conclusion of calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter in honor of Paul's love of animals.
