Paul J. CAZEAULT

CAZEAULT, Paul J. Sr. "Ping" Of Osterville, MA and Inverness, FL, passed away peacefully on July 13 at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born in Quincy to the late Pearson and Marion Cazeault. Paul spent the first half of his life living in Weymouth, working for the family roofing business. In 1978, Paul relocated his family to Osterville, where he continued in the family roofing business.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Cazeault, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He will be deeply missed by his children: Paul, Jr. and Leslie of Englewood, FL, Russell and Brenda of Marstons Mills, MA, and Stacy Gilmore and Chris of Covington, LA. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Bobby (Danielle), Krissy, Ellamae, Ronan, Caroline, Dane, and Keegan. Additionally, Paul leaves behind great-grandchildren, Joey, Jacob, Lucas, and Kove, who brought immense joy to his life. Paul's siblings, Patty Cross, Gail Robertson, Sally Benson, and Richard Cazeault, and his in-laws, Bill and Dot Mathewson, will forever hold his memory dear in their hearts. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jean Skinner, Joe Cazeault, Jon Cazeault, Donald Cazeault, and Jimmy Cazeault.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Paul will be remembered as a kind and generous soul who found immense joy in the company of friends and family. He actively participated in various community organizations, including the Elks Lodge, Weymouth Chowderheads, and Osterville Veterans Association. His commitment to service was recognized as he became a Paul Harris fellow.

He found solace in his workshop constantly tinkering. As an avid boater and lover of the sea, he embraced the freedom and tranquility of the water, indulging in his favorite pastimes of fishing, golfing, gardening, and cooking. He embraced his father's tradition of making baked-stuffed lobster.

Animals held a special place in Paul's heart, earning him the endearing nickname "Doctor Doolittle." At his Florida home, birds and turtles eagerly awaited his presence each morning, drawn to his gentle nature and remarkable connection with nature's creatures.

A lover of life, Paul was always ready to share a song, crack a joke, or recite a playful limerick. His infectious spirit and mantra, "Food, Fun, Friends," captured his zest for life and his unwavering dedication to making every moment count.

In honor of Paul's giving nature, please pay it forward by spending quality time with loved ones, extending a helping hand to others, or donating to a worthy charity. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects during Visiting Hours on Wednesday, July 19 from 4-7 at Chapman Funeral Home at 3778 Falmouth Rd. (Rte. 28), MARSTONS MILLS, MA 02648. A Service Celebrating Paul's extraordinary Life will take place on Thursday, July 20, at 11 AM at the funeral home.
