Paul Wayne Chastain

Paul Wayne Chastain passed from this life and was welcomed into the hands of our Lord and Savior on May 20, 2023, at the young age of 61 years. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Thomas Alton and Bobbie Lee Gann on July 6, 1961.
He will be lovingly remembered by his bride of 13 years, Veronica Mendez Chastain; sons, Christopher, Gilbert, Richard, and Nicholas; daughter, Rose Chastain (Paul), Tabatha Chastain (Cole), Jennifer (JoJo), and Stephanie (George); mother, Bobbie Lee Gann; grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Marcella, Tony, Nathan, Sebastian, Lucky, Jason, Joshua, Angel, Micah, RJ, Mercedes, Aliyah, Aryana, Aiden, Averi, Maelynn, and Brooklyn; great-grandchildren, Noree, and Daniel other family members, Tammy (Ralf), Shane (Eleen), and many other family members and his best friend, "Thumper."
Paul is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Alton Gann; grandmother, Dorothy Parks; sister, Merita Adkins; brothers, Tony Gann and William Chastain.
He was an excellent chef, loved tending to his garden, enjoyed playing and hustling on darts and pool, where he met his bride-to-be, Veronica. There was nothing Paul could not accomplish. A true inspiration to all who knew and loved him.
Paul was always a father, grandfather, and great grandfather that everyone wanted and wished they had. We love him so much and now he will be watching over and guiding us until we are all reunited. He was always a shining example of a true and proud man. No matter what time of day, Paul was always available for anyone who needed him, especially family.
