Paul R. Chellew, 56 of Superior, WI died on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Solvay Hospice House with his family by his side.
Paul was born January 23, 1968 to Ella (Madsen) and Robert Chellew in Minneapolis, MN.
He graduated from high school and attended a Vocational Technical College to become a chef. While working at Hilton he met the love of his life Mandy Lundin, and they were married on September 26, 2009, in International Falls, MN.
Paul was employed as a sous chef with the Airport Hilton in Bloomington, MN for over 20 years. They moved to Superior, and he has been employed as a cook for St. Luke's Hospital since 2013.
Paul and his family attended Darrow Road Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, camping, fishing, cooking, and deer hunting. Paul was passionate about watching his son, nieces, and nephews play sports. He would do just about anything for his family.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. William and Ida Chellew and Otto & Anna Madsen, and his Godfather, Richard Chellew.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mandy; his son, Noah; his parents Robert and Ella Chellew; his brother, Ronald (Dawn) Chellew; his sister, Karen Chellew; mother and father in-law, Laurie & Tom Lundin; brother and sister in-law, Dusty and Janelle Lundin; nieces and nephews, Ethan K., Evan K., Aubry L., Amelia C., and Ethan L. and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th St., visitation will continue from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Service Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, 4020 S. Darrow Rd., Superior, WI.
