Paul Robert Clapp, a dedicated truck driver for over thirty years, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on June 10, 1966, Paul lived a life rich in experiences and love for his family and friends.

Paul was not only known for his steadfast work ethic on the road but also for his vibrant personality off it. He had a deep passion for motorcycles and spent many weekends riding and exploring the open road. His hands were often busy with his automotive projects, as he found great joy in working on cars. Friends and family knew they could count on him for assistance, as he always lent a hand to those in need. Paul found delight in playing games, whether it was rolling dice, strategizing in card games, or throwing darts, often surrounded by laughter and camaraderie.

He leaves behind his significant other and ex-wife, Kimberly Clapp, and several beloved children: son Paul Thomas Clapp, daughter Christina Clements, sons Cage Farris, Gabriel Farris, Dustin Carpenter, Travis Carpenter, and Cody Carpenter. Paul also cherished his role as a grandfather to Christopher Clapp, Wyatt Clapp, and Kayliana Crume-Clapp, whose lives he touched deeply.

Paul is survived by his siblings: Stacey Ramsey-Clapp, Debbie Blevins, Douglas Raley, Gregory Raley, Earl Thomas Clapp, Jr., and his half-brothers Thomas Clapp, Bobby Clapp, Jimmy Clapp, and Carl Clapp. He also leaves behind 6 nieces and 13 nephews who will fondly remember their uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Thomas Clapp, mother, Karen Yvonne Ridge, and sisters, Karen Geanett Neighbors and Tomett Yvonne Bateman.

Paul Robert Clapp will be remembered not just for his professional dedication, but for the warmth he brought into the lives of everyone around him. His spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends, echoing through their shared memories and the love he instilled in them all.

There will be a graveside service and burial at Memorial Park in Vincennes, IN on Friday December 5th at 1 pm. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Paul and his family.
