Paul Corcoran Obituary
Paul Corcoran, 73, of Rocky Hill passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Mary Sue (Jung) Corcoran for over 48 years.
Born in Flint, MI, he was the son of the late Edward and Faith (Larkin) Corcoran. Paul worked in the family business as a Mechanical Engineer for Wolverine Fire Protection for many years. Paul loved golf, fishing, woodworking, reading, being outdoors, trips to VT, and most importantly being with family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his two daughters Holly Zito (Craig) of MA, and Jodi Christman (Jim) of MA, his son Chris Corcoran (Jackie) of Southington, his grandchildren Addie and Noah Zito, Chase and Charlotte Christman, Mckenna and Connor Corcoran, and his ten brothers John (Dianne), Steve (Christine), Matt (Rosemary), Tom (Connie), Mark (Karen), Pat (Sue), Marty, Luke (Jo), Tim (Carmen), Ed (Maryanne).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit www.mulryanfh.com.

So incredibly sorry Mary Sue; Paul was one of the good guys. I hadn't seen him (or you) in almost 36 years, at my wedding in NY - and before that it had been quite a while. Yet it seems like yesterday we were on our California trip (incredible memories), water skiing at Cedar Lake or Cherwinski's, playing softball, or just hanging out. I was just always sure that I would see him again. Great life lesson - don't put it off.

My name is Mark Chapman. I shared 12 years of St. Mary's and two years of living with Paul during our time at University of Michigan. I was best man at his wedding to Mary Sue. We shared many times together including a 'coming of age' California trip when we graduated from St. Mary's. I have very many fond memories of Paul and Mary Sue and regret that I had not stayed in contact. I had thought of calling Paul just in the past month and regret not doing so.
