Paul Dennis Obituary
Paul David Dennis, age 86, of Livonia, passed away Thursday, October 9 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Mr Dennis was born June 20, 1939, in Livonia, Indiana, the son of Paul and Jenny Smedley Dennis. He attended Livonia Baptist Church. He graduated in 1959 from Indiana College of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis and worked at Dennis Mortuary, with his brother, Jack, for several years before moving to Florida.
He was preceded in death by his longtime friend, Charlie Wilder, two brothers: Donald Dennis and Jack E. Dennis, two sisters: Bonnie Vissing and Dottie Crace. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, including: Donna Dennis, who he resided with in Livonia, and Stacy Marshall, who cared for him after his return to Indiana. He is also survived by a sister-in-law: Charlene Dennis.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19 at Weathers Funeral Home, at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in Smedley Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1PM-time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smedley Cemetery Fund.
