Paul Devers Obituary
Paul worked for the state highway department. He loved his job, but health issues made him quit. He had a lot of good friends that he cherished. One of the most important things in his life was his marriage to Dodie and he loved her family. One of his hobbies was cleaning his truck. He always said, 'Shining like new money' and he loved to go to Ollie's car wash. Most of all, every morning Paul loved going to the gathering place to visit with everyone and playing Bingo. Everyone there was like a family member to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Gladys Devers, sister Eva Louise Tyson, brothers: Billy Devers, Tommy Devers, and Donald Devers, and his wife Dorenia "Dodie" Devers.
Paul is survived by his son Scotty Devers of Branchville, IN and his brother George Robert Devers of Quincey, IL.
Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Life Celebration from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday February 9, 2026 at Benton-Glunt and Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date St. Ann's Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut Street
