Paul Wesley Dooley, Sr., 74, formerly of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025.
He was born on December 8, 1950, in Jeffersonville, IN, to Albert W. Dooley, Sr. and Jean M. Ellison Dooley. Paul was an outdoor salesman for Marcone Supply of St. Louis, MO, working several years at Jeffboat, Inc.
Paul enjoyed hiking in the mountains near Gatlinburg, TN, where he and his wife spent a lot of time. He was a supporter of the Louisville Cardinals and the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a big fan of eating at Ollie's Trolley in Louisville and watching Star Trek movies and The Big Bang Theory. Paul was all about his family, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert W. Dooley, Sr.
Paul is survived by his wife, Roberta Raisley Dooley, son, Paul Dooley, Jr. (Jennifer Deaton) of Charlestown, IN; daughter, SarahBeth Cortez of Louisville, KY; mother Jean Dooley of Clarksville, IN, sister, LuAnn Conner (Ken) of Sellersburg, IN, brothers, Albert W. Dooley, Jr., (Sherry) of Jeffersonville, and Joe Dooley (Kathy) of Charlestown; grandchildren, Morgan Bush, Paula Dooley, Paul W. Dooley, III, Joey Quiggins, Faith Dooley, Grace Quiggins, Tyler Peterson, Darienne Peterson, Alexis Deaton and Taylor Deaton; great grandchildren, Maizlinn Bush, Nevaeh Bush, Briella Bush, Penelope Bush, Zeke Thorstad, Addison Dooley, Maxine Thorstad, Kash Dooley, Kameron Hunter, Mila Hunter and Jayce Gamble.
Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
