Paul Dreyfus Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 25, 2023.
ANGIER – Paul A. Dreyfus, Sr., 85, passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Tuesday, September 19th. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Bernard Anthony Dreyfus and Caroline Doneman Dreyfus. He was a resident of Angier for 27 years.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.
Paul was the cornerstone of his family and watched over them as a giant, both physically and figuratively. Known as Dad, Pa, Gramps, Great Grandpa, Uncle, and Paul. He opened his heart and home to all. His wicked sense of humor and sass could be matched by no one, though they tried.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Dreyfus; daughter, Denise Santeramo (Lawrence) of Durham; grandchildren, Michael (Ashleigh), Jonathan (Jessica), Nicole (Edward), Daneille, Alexis, and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cara, Edward Joseph, Levi, Liam, and Easton.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Paul A. Dreyfus, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either The American Cancer Society or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Paul's memory.
