Paul was born May 28, 1961 to parents James and Marylyn, the youngest of their four children. He had a wealth of comical stories from his childhood about his family, pets and farm equipment.

Paul went on to go to college, obtaining a degree in electrical engineering, and married his wife, Jan, with whom he raised two kids, although they were divorced later on.

In his later years he collected various books and items which appealed to his peculiar taste. His fanciful creations were unforgettable to those who saw them, like a pony-sized snowflake dragon out of cardboard, which became a display in the elementary school library, and his Halloween costume, “toilet head”, which was a crowd favorite.

As a business venture, he developed a program which was capable of generating images of snowflakes with the guarantee that no two were the same.

He also took diligent care of his yard. In Albuquerque, he established a front yard teeming with hummingbirds and bumblebees. It was filled with herbs and perennial flowers, and had a path hedged with trimmed rosemary bushes. In Missouri, he took care of a multi acre yard and kept the grass with the aid of his trusty riding mower.

He fought life’s challenges with creativity and comedy.

In lieu of being able to maintain a license he maintained his independence by riding his bike.

God required his soul of him unexpectedly at the age of 63.
