Paul Douglas Eonta, 68, of Ellport passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his residence.

Born February 9, 1958 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Paul Eonta, who passed away March 6, 2004 and Mary Lou Koach Eonta of Ellport . He was married to the late Michelle Brewer Eonta.

Doug graduated from Riverside High School in 1976. He enjoyed traveling, site-seeing and playing chess with his grandson. An outdoorsman, Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to sportsman's shows. His most cherished time was spent teaching life lessons with his pride and joy, his best friend and grandson, Declan.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Lou; son, Jason (Nicky) Eonta, grandson, Declan Eonta of North Sewickley Twp.; daughter, Nicole Eonta (Edward Hendricks) of Chippewa; two sisters, Cathy (Dan) Pflugh of North Sewickley, Jean-Marie (Thompson) Trent of Hopewell; brother, Mark (Sandy) Eonta of Ellwood City; brother in-law, Tim Hudspath of Florida; in laws, Lance (Lorrie) Brewer, Judy Brewer, and Debra (Don) Okon, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his wife and father, Doug was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Hudspath.

A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at a later date.
