Paul Fitzgerald

Paul Raymond Fitzgerald, formerly of Concord, MA, passed at his home in Acton on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the age of 74.
Paul was born in Concord on March 16, 1949 and graduated with the class of 1968 from Concord-Carlisle High School. Shortly after graduating, he served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Germany he attended Nuclear Weapons school.
Paul started his career at Hanscom AFB in the Aerospace Division of Rockwell International. He always had the astounding ability to identify any type of military aircraft flying overhead. Being multi-talented, Paul then chose to use his skills and knowledge in the construction, renovation and remodeling fields.
Paul is survived by his devoted life partner Eileen Asoian, three loving siblings, Susan Taber, Scott Dundey and David Dumdey, along with eight nieces and nephews. Paul will be lovingly remembered by many lifelong friends.
Paul will be remembered for his outgoing personality and kind hearted nature. He was extremely clever and everyone enjoyed his great sense of humor. Paul loved the outdoors especially hiking and camping in the White Mountains along the Kancamagus and Swift River areas.
Paul will be laid to rest privately at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Paul will be planned at a later date.
