He was born April 7, 1945, in Tinsman, Arkansas, son of Paul Hugh Forrest, Sr. and Reba Pennington Forrest.
Paul was reared and received his early education in Star City, graduating from Star City High School. He served in the Army Reserves.
He was a heavy equipment inspector for the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Paul was a valued member and long-time Deacon of River Road Baptist Church in Redfield. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his loving family.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Reather Margaret Forrest.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Herren Forrest; son, Dr. Steve Forrest; daughter, Conni Forrest; and brother, Danny Forrest (Gene).
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with services following the visitation at 11:00 a.m., with Brother Mark Estes officiating. Interment will follow in Redfield Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to River Road Baptist Church Food Pantry, 723 River Road, Redfield, AR 72132.
