Paul Francis Frankowski

PAUL F. FRANKOWSKI, 80, of Jackson, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Serenity Hospice, Hamilton, NJ.
Son of Joseph and Mary, Paul was born in Newark, NJ and was subsequently raised in Jersey City, of which he had fond memories. Most recently employed by Saker Shoprite as a frozen food manager, Paul worked in the grocery business for most of his life where he ultimately met his wife, Karen. They settled in their home in Jackson in 1987.
Paul was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He was a movie buff and he also enjoyed watching various TV series. Paul always loved the boardwalk and the beach, most recently the Outer Banks. He loved Dunkin Donuts coffee and going out for breakfast with his family. Paul had a great joy in gift-giving and celebrating holidays with his family, especially Christmas. Paul deeply loved his family and particularly enjoyed spending time with his grandson (who affectionately referred to him as "pepa") at the "beach rides", farms, parks, and even BJ's and Home Depot. Paul had an infectious personality; he left an impression on all who knew him.
Paul was predeceased by his father-in-law, Charles E. Goletz Jr. in 2016. Surviving is his beloved wife of 37 years, Karen; his daughter, Lauren and son-in-law, Austin Cordero of Brick, NJ; and his two favorite people, his grandchildren, Tyler Paul and Josie Aurora.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1-5 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9 AM on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
