UPDATED OBITUARY
Paul T. Grannan, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona, Florida. He was born in Washington, Indiana, on May 27, 1956, the second son of Bernard N. and Mary Jacqueline (Fridrich) Grannan.
Paul graduated from Washington High School in 1975. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was a drill instructor and military police officer. He subsequently worked in various strip mines in Southern Indiana. Paul moved to Florida in 2015 working as a Volusia County equipment operator.
Paul is survived by his son, Christopher (Addi) McCauley of Roanoke, Texas and granddaughter, Mackenzie Grace; his daughter, Kristin Bacidor (Allen) McCoy of Vincennes, Indiana and granddaughter, Quinn Marie; his brothers, Bernard F. "Rick" Grannan of Washington; Gerald G. "Jerry" (Christine) Grannan of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Mary Beth Lancaster of Sterling, Illinois. Additionally, there are three nieces and one nephew.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard N. and Mary Jacqueline (Fridrich) Grannan, and a brother, John Christopher (Chris) Grannan.
Visitation for Paul Grannan will be 10:00-11:30 am, October 22, 2022, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Paul's funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation and will begin at 11:30 am. Yvonne Evans will officiate. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery.
