Born May 3, 1933, in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Paul John Grieger Sr. and Elizabeth Molnar Grieger.
After completing his associate degree, Paul earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Kings Point and a master's from RPI.
He worked for the Merchant Marines as a Chief Engineer for many years until his retirement.
Paul was a volunteer member of A.B Shaw Fire company in Claverack. He enjoyed collecting trains and antiques from the Revolutionary War era.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary Grieger, nephews Robert (Chris), and James Grieger and wife Gail, nieces Jeanne Maresca husband Patrick and Cathy Gallinger and 9 great nieces and nephews 2 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brother Richard and great nephew Cory.
Graveside services will be on April 15th at 11am, at Claverack Reformed Church Cemetery, 88 NY-9H, Hudson, New York 12513.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
