Paul Stanley Haden, age 65, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Paul's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Carey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Paul was born on July 23, 1959 in Loraine, Texas to James Arnet Haden, Sr. and Leola (Williams) Haden. He was a Baptist and a Loraine High School graduate. He worked as a supervisor for the Sweetwater Cotton Compress for many years, before retiring.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Atkins of Sweetwater, Texas; daughters, Taneshia Bailey and husband Joshua of Sweetwater, Texas, and Carolyn Haden of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren, Delmontre Atkins, Joseph Atkins, Don'Zanaya Atkins, Almarissa McCann, Eddie Mc Cann, Jr., Aniyah Hutchings, and Aeiress Lacey; three brothers, David Haden, Curtis Haden, and James Arnet Haden, Jr., all of Sweetwater, Texas; four sisters, Sandra Atkins, Susan Haden Taylor, and Yolanda Haden, all of Sweetwater, Texas, and Karen Kay Haden White of San Angelo, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Atkins, Jonathan Atkins, Julius Haden, Joseph Atkins, Jaylan Atkins, and Darius Atkins.
