ENOSBURG FALLS - Paul E. Hatch, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at his home in Enosburg Falls.
He was born October 16, 1950, in Woodsville, NH, the eldest son of Vern and Katherine (Rogers) Hatch.
Paul proudly served his country as an EOD Technician in the U.S. Army. In 1972 he married his high school sweetheart, and life partner, Mary Hammond in Monroe, NH. They started life together in Schenectady, NY, eventually ending up on a small farm in Berkshire. Paul's working career began at General Electric in NY, 30 years at IBM in Vermont, and ended as a government security contractor. In retirement he volunteered as a hospice worker and delivered meals on wheels. He served his community for many years as a school board member and was a long time Justice of the Peace. Paul enjoyed many things in this life, like golf and deer camp, but nothing gave him more of a reward than serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In addition to his wife, Mary Hatch, he is survived by his four children, Shawn Hatch, Jeremy Hatch and his wife Carrie all of Berkshire, Emma Chase and her partner Jim Williams of Bakersfield, and Brian Hatch and his wife Kylee of Jericho; eight very special grandchildren, Miya Hatch, Olivia Hatch, Michaela Chase, Hunter Chase, Henry Hatch, Evelyn Hatch, Leah Hatch, and Harper Hatch; two brothers, Gary Hatch and his wife Maggie of Portsmouth, NH, and James Hatch and his wife Cathy of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a large extended family. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Vern & Katherine Hatch.
