PAUL A. HELMUTH, 62 years, 7 months, and 9 days of Arthur, IL, passed away at 3:55 A.M. Monday, March 9, 2026, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the HCK West building, one mile south of Arthur, IL. Bishop Howard Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery, Arthur, IL. Visitation will be any time after 2:00 P.M. Tuesday and any time after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. All at the HCK building.
Paul was born August 28, 1963, in Decatur, IL. He was a son of Adlai L. and Edna D. (Chupp) Helmuth. He married Katie Louise Diener on April 2, 1987, in Arthur, IL they lived in Holy Matrimony, 38 years, 11 months, and 7 days.
Survivors include his wife Katie of Arthur, IL; six children Glen and his wife Mary (Chupp) Helmuth, Marlin Helmuth, Marilyn Gingerich and her husband Chris, Lisa Miller and her husband Jason, all of Arthur, IL, Roseanna Hochstetler and her husband Richard of Albion, IN, and Christina Otto and her husband Christy of Arthur, IL; five grandchildren, Janelle Gingerich, Marlys Helmuth, Brandon Helmuth, Lucas Helmuth and Mason Otto; his father Adlai Helmuth and his wife Alma of Arthur, IL; one sister Margaret Miller and her husband Reuben of Arcola, IL, one brother, Raymond Helmuth and his wife Gladys (Herschberger), one stepbrother, Willard Miller and his wife Katie, one stepbrother-in-law, Merle Miller, and one stepsister-in-law, Verna Kay Miller all of Arthur, IL,
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna (Chupp) Helmuth, one son-in-law Keith Chupp, one stepsister, Rachel Fern Miller and one stepbrother, Gary Dale Miller.
Paul was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
