Obituary of Paul Michael Hennegan
Paul Michael Hennegan was born on November 24, 1948 to Verta and John Hennegan in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul was a delightful child, full of energy, and had a talent for art and music.
Paul attended the University of Nebraska Dental School and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He practiced dentistry for forty-five years, and his patients truly loved him. He was always so kind and gentle with them all.
On December 27, 1969, Paul married Nancy McBeth. They started their family in 1974.
On April 28, 2001, Paul married Cecile Eichers, the love of his life, blending their two families with a total of seven children.
Paul loved hiking in the mountains and singing in various choirs. Most recently, he was a member of Soli Deo Gloria choir and performed in 2022.
On Memorial Day, May 29, 2023, Paul passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. He was 74.
To cherish his memory, he leaves behind four children and three stepsons: Kevin (Cynde) Hennegan, Wendy (Tom) Plymell, Amy (Randy) Furney, Kelly (Carly) Hennegan, Jeff (Michelle) Eichers, Brian (Jessica) Eichers, Steven (Kristal) Eichers; and twelve grandchildren: Andrew Plymell, Austen Plymell, Ariah Plymell, Keira Plymell, Annielle Hennegan, Micah Hennegan, Luther Furney, Lukey Furney, Brice Eichers, Bailey Eichers, David Eichers, and Daniel Eichers.
