Paul Hiers III

Paul Leighton Hiers III, age 43, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was a true man of God whose faith guided every part of his life. He devoted himself to his family and took great pride in being a loving husband and father. He is the son of Tammy Crosby Hiers and the late Paul L. Hiers, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hiers, their children, Raquel Cardenas, Aaliyah Hiers, Zoe Hiers, Edgar Hiers, and his beloved grandchildren, Sophia Bahena, Aylin Bahena, and David Bahena, all of whom were the light of his life.
A skilled and dedicated contractor, Paul spent his career helping families build their dream homes, leaving behind not only lasting craftsmanship but also meaningful relationships with those he worked alongside. Outside of work, his greatest joy came from preaching and sharing God's Word. He loved reading his Bible whenever he could and dedicated his life to helping others find faith and hope in the Lord. He also loved listening to Spanish Christian music, southern rock, and 90s grunge, which brought him comfort and joy throughout his days.
Paul was always there for anyone in need, offering encouragement, prayer, and support. His unwavering compassion and willingness to help others were a true gift to everyone who knew him.
Paul will be remembered for his kindness, faith, and deep love for his family. His legacy of strength, hope, and devotion to God will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
