Paul Hinshaw Obituary
Paul Vernon Hinshaw passed away peacefully at Clapps nursing facility on November 20th 2025.
Paul was born to Robert Elwood Hinshaw and Alta Fox Hinshaw on August 14, 1934. After spending three years in the Navy, Paul met the love of his life Lois Richardson, to whom he has been married 69 years. They went to Elon together, where Paul got a bachelor’s degree and then went into the heating and air business where he worked until he was 85 years old. He was an incredibly hard worker, building his business for and with his family. His family continues his legacy of hard work; but will miss his presence, his steadfastness, and the constant reassuring refrain of “If I was any better I couldn’t stand it!”
Paul is survived by his loving wife Lois, his son Paul Vernon Hinshaw, Jr. (Esther), his daughter Carole H. Hill (Mike), his sister Ernestine Cox, his four grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother Clarence Hinshaw, and his sisters Charleen Pell and Dot Daniels.
The family would like to thank CLAPPS nursing home for their incredible care of Paul.

A private burial will be held at a later time.
