He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Master of Education from Bridgewater State University. Paul led a distinguished and varied career. He played baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies AA farm team, then became a high school history teacher at Oliver Ames High School in Easton, MA where he also served as the Varsity Baseball Coach. His lifelong love of baseball brought him much recognition, including 13 Major League Baseball contract offers and becoming a two-time inductee into the University of Massachusetts Athletics Hall of Fame. Beyond sports, Paul proudly served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. A devout Catholic, Paul's greatest joy was his family. He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, a leader, and a family man who lived his faith in quiet strength and devotion.
