Paul Huskey, 70, of Kings Mountain, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born on December 5, 1953, in York, S.C., Paul spent much of his life working in textiles, dedicating his career to the industry. He was a man of few words, but those who knew him found him to be friendly, outgoing, and kind-hearted. Paul enjoyed the simple things in life and could often be found watching his favorite cooking shows, quietly savoring the art of food from the comfort of his home.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, and he leaves behind his loving wife, Rachel Ogle, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by his son John B. Huskey and wife Wendy of Grover, stepdaughter, Regena Navidad her husband Juan, two stepsons Jerry Gregg(Vanessa) and Grant Gregg (Hattie Damewood) all of Blacksburg, S.C., and his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren who will all carry on his memory.
Though his life was simple, Paul touched many with his warm personality and thoughtful presence. His memory will be carried on by those who knew and loved him.
Receiving of Friends and Family will be held at the home he shared with Rachel, Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 located at 111 Beech Lane in Kings Mountain.
A memorial Service will be a 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at Harvest Time Assembly Church, 904 Second Street in Kings Mountain, with Pastor Sheila Grigg and Brother Christopher Begley.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Wendover Hospice for their dedicated and caring service during Paul's illness.
