Paul Vincent Junk

Paul Junk passed away on January 30 from cancer surrounded by his family at his side. Paul was born at home in Cassville, Wisconsin to Alois and Sylvia Junk. Paul and his beloved wife, Donna, were married on 1/4/1960 & celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on 1/4/2026.

He is survived by Donna; his daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Bauer and Laurel; his son, Dean (Rene); daughter-in-law, Rebecca; siblings Maryann Cadwell, Dorothy Kirchberg, Alois Jr., Leo, Kenneth, Lois Houghton and Joseph; and six grandchildren with eight great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his son, Darrell as well as siblings Richard, Karen Brown, Lorraine and Janell Bradshaw.

He worked 20+ years as District Manager for Koch Industries. He also had his own welding business for about 4 years. He then rounded off his working career with 15+ years as Manager of Maintenance for Cub Foods in Onalaska, WI. After living in LaCrescent, MN for almost 60 years, they relocated to Camarillo, California in 2020 to live with their daughter to enjoy warmer year-round weather.

His love for his family, the outdoors, gardening, being a handyman, farmer, and tending to his large Koi pond in California were but a few of his interests. His passion for puzzles was amazing as he exhibited master skills for any type. Finally, his daily walks with his little 8 lb. Maltese Yorkie named Ireland were the talk of the neighborhood in Camarillo.

Funeral services will be held at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home in Camarillo, CA on February 18th at 10:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed via Viewologies link. See details on the Conjeo Mountain Funeral Home website.
