Settling in Denver, Colorado, Paul met his wife, Kay, sharing 50 wonderful years together. They relocated to California, where Paul thrived in the golf industry, his true passion. After retiring in Myrtle Beach, they embraced the open road on his Harley Davidson Trike, cherishing his membership in the Blue Knights' South Carolina Chapter V Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed the Italian Club and playing golf.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Kay, their beloved son Shaun and wife Chrissy, and four cherished grandchildren Katie Ann, Chloe, Ryan, and Claire of California. He leaves behind his brother Dolph and wife Sandy, sister Chrissie Greatrex and husband George, niece Krista Karlson, nephew Paul Karlson, niece Emily, and nephew Casey Greatrex.
Paul's fun-loving personality and sense of humor kept Kay laughing. A proud father and grandfather, his easy-to-love nature, unwavering respect, and the blessing he was to all who knew him will forever be cherished in our hearts. His legacy of love and loyalty will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Mr. Karlson is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC.
