Paul J. Klems

Paul J. Klems, 83, of Cabot, formerly of Norwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Concordia. He was born May 7, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Ellen Virginia (McCoy) Klems. Paul worked as a Math teacher at Purcell Marian High School and later retired from St. Xavier High School, both in Cincinnati. During his summers while not in school, Paul worked in the office at Kings Island Amusement Park in Ohio. Paul was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Cabot. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to various locations in the U.S. and to many places in Europe including Ireland, Germany, and Slovakia. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and a Steeler fan by virtue of marrying into a Pittsburgh area family. Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years , Joan (Severin) Klems, sister, Ellen Imhulse, of Cincinnati, sister-in-law, Mary Kay Klems of Cincinnati. Paul also leaves behind several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome and James Klems and his sister-in-law, Mary F. Klems.

Viewing will be held at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Cabot followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 with Msgr. Raymond Riffle as celebrant.
