PALMYRA - Died on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at age 58. Predeceased by his father Sheldon Knapp and daughter Sadie Knapp. Survived by his children, Stella and Spencer Knapp; loving former wife Julie Knapp; mother Shirley Johnston; siblings Tom (Jeanne) Knapp, Sue Knapp, Jane Holley, Margaret (Bob) Leuwen, and John Knapp; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Paul was born in Canandaigua, NY on April 5, 1966. He had a lengthy career in the HVAC industry. He grew up on the water and was an avid sailor who loved racing alongside his brothers. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities, including gardening, biking, and cross-country skiing. Paul's memory will live on through the many stories told by his friends and family.
Please join the family at noon on Saturday, September 14th in the Palmyra Village Cemetery for prayers of Committal.

At different times. I take my Dog for a walk in the Cemetery. Then I stop and visit Paul. Tough to see some one gone so young.

Dear Knapp family
I am very sorry to read that Paul passed away. I worked with Paul a few times over the years. Paul at one time was a Great HVAC Mechanic. He could do most anything. I first meet Paul when he came to work at PAL Oil Company then later on at Lang Heating and Cooling out of Webster. Paul will be missed by many.
