Paul Russell Lefebvre, 73, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 at his residence in Beaumont. Paul was born on May 5, 1950 to the late, Russell Francis Lefebvre and Gladys Esther LaCroix Lefebvre.
Paul enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 and served his country proudly in both Korea and Germany. He was an avid golfer and Boston Redsox Fan, and could be found enjoying a round of golf at Brentwood Country Club as well as many other area golf courses.
Those left to cherish Paul’s memory include his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Brenda Lefebvre; his sisters, Elaine Mather and Annette Locke and her husband, Ronnie; his brothers-in-law, Allen Root, Jr. and wife, JoAnn, Ronny Root and his wife, Glennell, Randy Root and his wife, Melanie and Ricky Root and his wife, Sylvia; his fur-babies, Yaz, BG and Midnight and a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Francis Lefebvre and Gladys Esther LaCroix Lefebvre, his mother-in-law, Jewel Root and his father-in-law, Allen Root, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Paul’s honor to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas or to the American Cancer Society.
The loss of Paul leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. However, may we find solace in the memories we will share of him and the impact he had on each of us. As we gather to honor his memory, let us always remember the love and light he brought into each of our lives. Paul will forever remain in our hearts as an extraordinary soul who left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul's life will be celebrated through two events. The first event, a gathering of his family and friends, will be held on Tuesday, on November 14, 2023, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home, located at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, Texas. This will be an opportunity for Paul's friends and family to come together to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Paul. Following the gathering, Paul's funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, also at the funeral home. During this time, we will gather to honor Paul's life. It will be a time of reflection filled with stories of joy and remembrance. Immediately following the service, Paul will be laid to rest in the Tranquility Mausoleum at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
